Senior C++ Qt/QML Developer

Run It Once Poker, established in 2016, was founded with an idea to provide a legitimate alternative for online poker enthusiasts, distinguished by respect for the community and a commitment to the health of the poker ecology.

We are looking for a Senior C++ software developer, with strong knowledge of Qt and QML, ready to impress us with eye for detail, and clean coding skills.

To be successful in your role as a Senior C++ Developer, you should have extensive experience building quality cross-platform, maintainable software. Strong communication skills and an in-depth theoretical and hands-on knowledge are a need. Previous working experience in Agile environments is also a huge benefit.

You will

  • Set and uphold high quality coding standards
  • Ensure the implementation and development of automation tests
  • Encourage and uphold intra team and external team communication
  • Coordinate in cooperation with other teams and the Product Owners
  • Ensure timely project deliveries
  • Write clean, fast C++ code to a high standard, in a timely and scalable way, using Qt and QtQuick2
  • Consume internal APIs and web services
  • Communicate and liaise with other internal departments, and external providers
  • Assisting in sprint planning and roadmaps with insights and technical advice
  • Helping other colleagues achieve their best, and overcome their technical problems

You have

  • A University degree in software development or engineering
  • 2+ years of full time C++ development
  • Strong object-oriented thinking
  • Strong background and experience in solid and scalable software architecture

You know

  • Agile methodologies (SCRUM and Kanban)
  • Qt and QtQuick 2
  • MySql
  • Working knowledge of development and tools
  • Understanding of networking, client-server

It’s good to know

  • Web development
  • Multiple (Linux, MacOs and Windows) environment development
  • Online (or Live) Poker
